A few centuries ago, vampires were perceived as dead people coming back from their grave every night to feed on other people. As you can imagine, most of the vampires were field workers and small merchants, often lacking any graciousness in their looks and sporting an air of terror.
Then, in the gothic literature of the XVIIIth and XIXth century, the old vampire image took on a new form, a new ideal. From being a disgraceful thing... to become an interesting, fascinating and more often than not, an aristocrat of the higher society.
Includes: Velvet vest with attached shirt sleeves, dickie shirt front with scarf collar, full-length lined satin cape, pants and medallion on ribbon.
