The clothing of the 1950s were heavily influenced by television and the birth of Rock-n-Roll. TV shows such as Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best and I Love Lucy reflected the clothing of the time. The end of WW2 had brought on a baby boom and by the last half of the 1950s there was an abundance of teenagers with their own ideas of what fashion should look like.
If you’re planning on reliving the 1950s remember this, no poodle skirt is complete without a pair of saddle oxfords. Are you going to a Sock Hop this weekend? Have you just been cast as Sandy in the play Grease? Maybe you’re going cruising in your newly restored T-Bird or just want to look the part when your sweetie takes you to the new '50s diner in town. No matter what your plans, our classic black and white lace-ups, low heel wing tips and two styles of pumps (one with a sweet bow on the toe) will have you rockin’ and rollin’ at the band stand all night long.
The saddle oxfords are available in both women and children’s sizes.
