How Much Will It Cost To Ship My Order?
Our shipping costs are based on three things:
- The weight of the items being ordered
- The distance the order will be shipped from our warehouses to you
- The shipping service chosen (ie. Ground, 3 Day, Next Day, etc.)
In order to get a shipping total, please add your desired items to your shopping cart. After all of the items are added, view your shopping cart page. You should see all of the items in the cart. Directly below the cart are buttons for going back to the catalog, completing the order and another button called Estimate Shipping. This button will open a popup window into which you may enter your delivery address and request an immediate shipping quote for all shipping services offered to your delivery address.
How Can I Tell If An Item Is In Stock?
We try very hard to maintain reasonable stock levels of every item offered on our site. The primary exceptions to this rule are "Special Order" or "Custom" items which are always clearly marked as such near the bottom of the product's description.
If you absolutely need to receive your order by a specific date, it is probably safest to Contact Us directly so that we can confirm the stock levels of the product(s) that you are interested in.
How Do I Determine If An Item Is The Correct Size?
If there are different sizes available for an item, you will be asked to choose a size when you add that item to your cart. Please note that different manufacturers can definitely vary their sizing slightly. In order to assist you in making the correct choice, please refer to our General Sizing Charts.
If in doubt between two sizes, we normally recommend ordering the larger size. An exception to this rule would be bodysuit costumes (like superheroes), which are meant to be tight fitting.
If you have any questions or concerns about the sizing of an item, it is probably safest to Contact Us directly so that we can help make sure that you get the correct size the first time.
If I Order Today, When Will My Item(s) Ship?
Unless otherwise noted in the product's description, all expedited orders that are received before 5pm Eastern Standard Time will ship out that same day as long as all items ordered are currently in stock.
Expedited orders received after 5pm EST will ship out on the following business (week) day.
Non-expedited orders (orders receiving ground shipping) will be processed within two business days of receipt of order.
After the processing time, the actual time that the shipping takes will be based upon the delivery option that you have selected. Please note that "Ground" shipping from the West Coast to the East Coast typically takes 5 business days but is not guaranteed. If you absolutely need your order to arrive by a certain date, you may want to use one of the Air Shipping methods in order to guarantee your delivery. What Do I Do If I My Order Is Damaged Before I Receive It?
- If you receive an item that is Visibly Damaged, Please refuse delivery and contact PlatinumCostumes.com
- If you receive an item(s) and discover a damaged item(s) please notify the courier who delivered the package and file a claim for the damaged item(s).
- All damaged item(s) will be credited back, along will shipping costs to your account.
- If you need replacement item(s) for an item(s) that have been damaged, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item(s) that were received damaged. This is because the desired item maybe out of stock by the time we receive your damaged return and to ensure the fastest delivery of your replacement item(s).
Please choose the sizing of your items carefully if you are ordering from another country.
