If I Order Today, When Will My Item(s) Ship?

That depends on where you live, time of day and the shipping method. For delivery dates refer to the "guaranteed by" date listed next to the selected shipping method in your shopping cart on the checkout page.

Unless otherwise noted in the product's description, all expedited orders that are received before 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) will ship out that same day as long as all items ordered are currently in stock. Expedited orders received after 5:00 pm EST will ship out on the following business (week) day. Non-expedited orders (orders receiving ground shipping) will be processed within two business days of receipt of order.

After the processing time, the actual time that the shipping takes will be based upon the delivery option that you have selected. Please note that "Ground" shipping from the West Coast to the East Coast typically takes 5 business days but is not guaranteed. If you absolutely need your order to arrive by a certain date, you may want to use one of the Air Shipping methods in order to guarantee your delivery. If you are unsure of which shipping method to select, please see our complete Shipping Selection Options below for further details.

Please be aware that if you list a Post Office Box (P.O. Box) on your Order and you are not APO/FPO your Order will be delayed as UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. Boxes.

If you absolutely need to receive your order by a specific date, please note that in the Comments or Instructions box on the Shipping Information Page of our Checkout process. Or, Contact Us directly so that we can help you choose the correct shipping options to meet your requirements.

NOTE:
¹ Business days only include weekdays, Monday through Friday. Saturday, Sunday and holidays do not count as business days.
² All orders placed before 5:00 pm EST Monday through Friday ship the same day. However, all orders are shipped within one business day from the time the order is placed. Saturday, Sunday and holidays are not business days. Shipping times are calculated from the first full business day following the shipment date. Example: if you place an order at 5:00 pm EST on Monday and paid for Next Day shipping, you will receive your order on the following Tuesday. If you placed the order after 5:00 pm EST on Monday, you will receive your order on Wednesday.




Refused Shipments, Wrong Addresses and Failed Delivery Attempts:

If you refuse our shipment for any reason, your credit card will be charged for the shipping cost associated with returning the costume to us.

If UPS makes three unsuccessful delivery attempts, your credit card will be charged for the shipping cost associated with returning the costume to us, and your original shipping cost will also not be refunded. If you provide an invalid address (including an incomplete address - you must provide a business name if shipping to a business or a suite / floor number if shipping location is not a single standing building), your credit card will be charged for the cost associated with UPS making the address correction. The extra cost related to any of these three occurrences will never exceed $15.00.



What Do I Do If My Package Is Late?

You can do one of two things:
1. If you DO NOT wish to keep the order than please refuse the package if you are home when the delivery is made, this will return the package to us at our costs. If you refuse the package please drop us a quick email at Info@platinumcostumes.com letting us know you have done this. If delivery is made when you are not home then please DO NOT open the package and contact us immediately. We will have UPS pick the package up at our costs.

If you open the package, then the only costs that will be reimbursed will be the original shipping costs, and you will be responsible for getting the package back to us at your cost.

Also note that if the late delivery is due to inclement weather, acts of god, or other uncontrollable situations, and or, is caused by an incorrect address provided by you, then you will be responsible for return shipping if you do not desire to keep the order once delivered.


2. If you DO wish to keep the order, then please contact us immediately and we will refund your original shipping costs as long as the late delivery is due to either a Platinum Costumes or UPS error.

We will ship orders to any* U.S. (including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico) or Canadian shipping address that UPS will deliver to.

We also offer International Shipping! You can ship most of our costumes and accessories to over 40 different countries around the world!

    APO/FPO Addresses - U.S. Military Bases in Foreign Countries
    All APO/FPO orders will automatically ship via US Postal Service, and delivery times will be delayed. Currently UPS and FedEx cannot ship to APO and FPO addresses. Consequently, PlatinumCostumes.com does not make any delivery time guarantee.

    The delivery time to APO/FPO addresses varies dramatically. Sometimes delivery can take weeks.

    U.S. Territories
    Please Note: Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands addresses are not considered international addresses. If you are planning to ship to this type of address you should NOT choose International Shipping.

    Bill To/Ship To:
    At this time we are only able to ship to addresses in the same area (domestic or international) as the bill to address. Meaning: We will not Bill to a Domestic Address and Ship to an International Address (or vice versa).

    International Shipping:
    Your order may be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. These fees are set by each country independantly. We have no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.


    The shipping charges you pay to PlatinumCostumes.com do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to PlatinumCostumes.com and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.


    *Please do not list a Post Office Box (PO Box) as your delivery address. We will not deliver to a PO Box.




    Which Shipping Option Should I Choose?

    Orders received by 5:00 pm EST, Monday through Friday, are typically processed and shipped the same business day. Orders received after 5:00 pm EST are processed and shipped the next business day.

    We currently offer seven different shipping options through either US Postal Service or UPS for you to choose from:

    • Next Day Air Early AM - next-day delivery first thing in the morning.
    • Next Day Air - next-day delivery to almost every address in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
    • Next Day Air Saver - next-business-day delivery by 3:00 p.m.
    • 2nd Day Air - delivery by second business day.
    • 3 Day Select - delivery within three business days to the 48 contiguous states.
    • Ground - guaranteed day of delivery among the 48 contiguous states. (See map below).
    • Budget - 6-10 days. Orders with products totaling more than $100 qualify for free budget shipping.

    Can I Use An Alternate Shipping Method?

    In certain circumstances we can help you to ship your order from Platinum Costumes via a carrier other than UPS. If this is something that you desire for your order, please Contact Us with the specifics of your request.




    Why Isn't My Entire Order In The Box?

    Occasionally Platinum Costumes must ship your order from more than one warehouse. If this is the case for your order, you will receive an email notifying you of the multi-part shipment before your order goes out.

    Platinum Costumes takes full responsibility for any extra shipping charges that are incurred during this type of scenario. You will never be billed for extra shipping charges when we ship from multiple locations.
